Motorola has a new page up. These will be in the next PowerBooks, I'm sure. The 1 GHz version at 1.1V will run much cooler than the 867 MHz version of the 7455 now used in the PowerBook G4 12". (fryke)

IBM Talks 1.8 To 2.5 GHz For PowerPC 970!
The IBM development department wants to show prototypes of the PowerPC Blades at CeBIT. In a report IBM speaks of the PowerPC 970 as a processor "with clock frequencies of 1.8 to 2.5 GHz", "the fastest PowerPC". A few months ago clock frequency was named 1.8 GHz.
