PowerTune: Making Apple's PowerBook G5 possible

eWeek reports on IBM's PowerTune technology, which will make iMac and PowerBook G5 a possibility. However, a chip using this technology has not yet been released as far as we know. Apple still says "not this year". Whether we'll hear more about this in the near future (Monday?) is unknown at the moment. Monday, of course, will bring news on Tiger, which we all anticipate. Keep your eyes on, as we'll bring you the news as soon as possible. We'll also test drive Tiger for you as soon as Monday night (with a report as early as Tuesday).
